Hindsight

What is on my wing.

Purpose. 

Today is hindsight.

Steady on my disposition.

only when someone revealed their face

did you turn away.

I didn't know that I gave you everything you needed

until you walked away.

"you're so sweet and nice I wish I had someone like you

I replied, 'you do in this moment', Thank you was said.

And put my hand in hers.

And didn't say anything

(I imagined it was you)

And kissed me

(I imagined it was you)

and when I opened my eyes

we were gone, you were gone and I hadn't come this far.

summertide bereft

We once spoke of summertide and moons.

This morning it stole the sky, peering thru my doors, thru my roof.

And you're sleeping.

Regarded

Awake now.

Bleak day and I felt the rain cascading on my face.

I remember better times while listening to this horrible music of mine.

I never went wrong. 

You never went at all.
